Haters gonna hate!
Um, music is not poetry. Sure good lyrics help a good song but Daft Punk, Moby, hell even M83 focus more on the musical aspect of a song. So you can’t say BEP makes crap music and take the music away from it. In fact, using loads of repetition and onomatopoeic plosives enforces the fact this is more musical than lyrical, and y’know what? That’s fucking fantastic. I’m not even a die hard fan or lover of BEP and you’re getting me upset over how ignorant you are being, OP.
I love Boom Boom Pow.
I’ve only heard it a few times but I dig it pretty deep.

Someone busted out “onomatopoeic” for a defense of the BEP.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
It made me lol. Most people don’t even know what that word means, much less how to use it correctly. And it made me lol that we were going all English Class on BEP lol. I don’t mind ‘em. They’ve got fun dance stuff.
No, it’s repetitive and not intelligent. I’m also an old fart and don’t like “pop” music, but play Erasure - Always to torture my wife. So ymmv.
